The following is a day by day account on how the Harbor Lodge was used as a Corporate retreat. To book the Harbor Lodge as a property for lease, click the link above.
The Harbor Lodge was a property leased by the Corum Group of Bellevue, Washington as a corporate retreat for Pacific North West / Puget Sound getaway. The Harbor Lodge and surrounding properties for lease in the WhidbeyHOLIDAY.com collection is starting to become a unique destination for corporate functions. In fact, we have started to see the property leased as a bonus for corporate incentives to full corporate planning meetings. This collection of Whidbey Island property for lease can accommodate your needs.
The Corum Group leased all the available property at the time they needed leased property for their corporate retreat. The following is a description of the event for this property for lease. We wanted something different and something special for our corporate retreat. We wanted a property for lease that could help build moral after a few difficult years in the high tech space. We looked at the usual options of the country retreat hotels, we came upon these collection of Whidbey properties at a wedding planners convention. The organization stated they were able to do the ultimate wedding event using their super yachts and high end property for lease on Whidbey Island. The thought was that if they could accommodate a wedding party this way, could not the same assets be used to provide our organization a similar experience. We had two dozen executive flying in form around the world. This is exactly what we did and it turned out to be, by far, the most extraordinary retreat we have planned.
Our executives flew into SeaTac the night before and made their way up to the properties for lease at Whidbey Island. The property for lease called the Harbor Lodge felt like a lodge with all of its gorgeous woodwork. As some of our staff stayed at other properties for lease in the network, we all got some design inspirations for our own homes. In our opinion, no hotel could have been as nice as these properties for lease. Complete computer connections were made available in each property for lease so our folks could catch key e-mails which never seem to stop coming in.
Presentations were made using the theatre level systems in the Lodge property for lease. The main meetings the first day ram from about 2 pm to 5 pm. While those were gong on, our chef, who had worked as the Spa Chef at la Quinta, was preparing a truly sumptuous meal at the Harbor Retreat (another property for lease we had leased) just down the road. The crew hosted us that night at the Harbor Retreat property for lease. This started with wine tasting that has a surprise which we promised not to tell about. While they served hors d’oeuvre’s, some of our staff started a game of pool downstairs in the great room. We were at the end of only our first day but the extraordinary dinner and dessert left everyone happy and full. What a great bunch of properties for lease.
We started the next day between 7-8 am with breakfast served by the crew (crew was distributed between all the properties for lease). They were up long before we were that day and the next. The property for lease at each location in the early hours of coffee and robes also gave our people some more time to visit. And being at such fine property to lease, it seamed a little like summer camp. A competition between property leased broke out between each property group around the pool table. The day was full of presentations with a break at noon for lunch. Lunch was served where the chef has prepared a wonderful buffet at on of the properties. At 2:30, we concluded for the day and our staff went in many directions.
Some slept at some of the property for lease, some read, several tried hot tubs, etc. A larger group opted to play golf. Most of the property for lease is close to the golf coarse near Freeland. A van load left all the properties leased and went shopping in the town of Langley. A few wondered the private beach which all of the property for lease offered. Others homed their pool game. Everyone enjoyed themselves and prepared for the big evening (this was not conducted at any of the property for lease but rather at a private country club on South Whidbey Island). We had a no host bar and some wines. The dinner was wonderful and towards the end we had several presentations for various employees. A couple of the presentations were pretty emotional. The group was feeling pretty close at this point. The entire company had gone though a lot in the past few years. The retreat was able to bring much of the organization emotionally back together.
At 6 we were all shuttled to a private country club south on the island. We had a no host bar, and some great wines. The dinner was wonderful, and towards the end we had several presentations for various employees. A couple of the presentations were pretty emotional. We had all gone through a lot the past few years, and the group felt pretty close, and this was an at home setting that set everyone at ease, and made us closer. It was a great last evening.
The next morning after breakfast we commenced presentations back at the Lodge property for lease. At noon we decided to break...we had worked hard and played hard and were ready to go home.
